Queer/feminine skateboarding collective De Rollende Mina's will land on Stadseiland Stek with an “on tour” edition of their Skatebar Mina. Skatebar Mina is a collaboration between Hubert Nijmegen and the Rolling Mina's and is a place where culture, art, nightlife and skateboarding meet. In this edition you will find spoken word, an exhibition and of course a lot of skateboards.

Spoken word (5:00 pm – 6:00 pm)

Plop down in the sand for the pink edition of Spraakwater. With a presentation by Thijs Kersten, five queer spoken word artists recite the most beautiful things.

Expo (all day)

“The New Face Of Skateboarding” is a portrait series by the Nijmegen photographer and artist Jesse van den Berg. Jesse has had about 100 visitors to Rollende Mina's events in front of his camera. Hear stories from queer skaters and discover that skateboarding isn't just the domain of young straight men.

Contest (7pm)

A handful of queer skaters will show off their talents on the mini ramp throughout the day, but there's also something to be won from 7pm, so the best tricks will pass by then.
