Names
- When referring to the event, one will refer to the Vierdaagsefeesten.
- When we talk about ‘the organisation’, we mean Stichting Vierdaagsefeesten or the Vierdaagsefeesten.
- We’d like to ask you not to use the former name ‘Summer Festival’; our event has been called the Vierdaagsefeesten since 1998.
- ‘Vierdaagsefeesten’ should be written in full: ‘Vierdaagse’ refers to the International Four Day Marches, and not to the festival.
- On social media we use the hashtag #vierdaagsefeesten
