New names announced

Nijmegen turns into the capital of the Netherlands from 15 until 21 July: during the Vierdaagse the whole city becomes one big festival stage. There are more than 1000 acts to be seen at over 45 stages, with the biggest variation of acts. The new names include Ammar, John de Bever and Wolter Kroes, but also Anneke van Giesbergen en Luwten, even Bonnie St. Claire, Imca Marina and Outsiders. Furthermore, Nijmegen offers a stage to up-and-coming musical talent and popular dance concepts. During the day, you will find activities for kids, street theater, lectures and workshops as well.
The best Dutch hits by Ammar, John de Bever, Wolter Kroes, Peter Beense and Joël Borelli are heard at Molenstraat. Go wild with Outsiders (Matrixx at the Park) or het Feestteam (Matrixx live aan de Kade). Hertogplein will stage Marco Schuitmaker, Bonnie St. Claire, Hike, Robert Pouwels, Suitz, DJ Barry Paf, New Leaf, Marcel Swerissen and DJ Kit-t.
At Faberplein you will find Imca Marina, The Legends, The Night Flight and Thirty Dancing. Raise your glass at the Grote Markt to Disco Snolly, Achtung, Disco Daddies, Remember the 70's, 80's & 90's, Antje Apfelkorn & die Kaiserbrötchen en Proost!. Sing along to live shows by Jackfire, The Euros, Straatwaarde, Q5 New Style and De Triesto's at Koningsplein.
The line up at the Stevenskerk has been expanded by Anneke van Giesbergen and Luwten x B.O.X. (ticket sale has started). The Valkhof Festival introduces you to Chibi Ichigo, Elmer, Lambrini Girls and Baby Volcano. Super Natural Selection, The John Hayes Project and Yeeehaa will be performing at Mariënburgplein.
Enjoyment has no limit at the Kaaij, hosting The Square Keys, Los Moustros, Chef Defect, Bootleg Betty, Smell the Horse - A Neil Young Experience, PEBB, Duende, Groovelnvaders + DJ Stuntman Bart, Geenius, Yotta and Miss MaryLane. Head to the Ramblas for Blue Mask, Myra Pilar, Etan Huijs, Simplify, JEF and the Pennies from Heaven, Black Hat White Hat, The Swim, Maarten van Praag and Faure.
Do you feel like dancing? Go to Kelfkensbos Festival for Rewind, Happy Feelings, KissKiss and Zer00's Heroes. Nonchelange, Willy Organ and Teleromeo are staged at Park Kronenburg. Smaakmarkt has you dancing to Honey Honey, Jiwa Jiwe, Binnenstebuiten and the Platenbus. Hot stuff, Satisfexy and Amy and More can be found at Credible.
The first 80 confirmed artists were announced earlier, amongst whom La Fuente, Paul Elstak, Flemming, Ch!pz, ztella, Frank Duijts, Sef, The Partysquad, The Boy Next Door, John West, Jannes, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Elephant and Ladaniva.
Of course local heroes Ronnie Ruysdael, Nijmeegse Annie and Bennie Solo will join the Festivities, as well as many fun cover bands.
