Uniek Wandelen

Everyone is welcome on this special unique walk! Like previous editions, this is a free group walk, in a beautiful and varied environment of the Vierdaagsefeesten.

Walking is healthy, gives pleasure and increases self-esteem, which is why we involve a diversity of people in this phenomenon so that – in addition to the sporting element – the meeting between target groups is also central.

The distance is about 9 km. Halfway through there is a festive break at Festival op 't Eiland, we conclude with a festive, not too busy, route through the center of Nijmegen.

The starting location this year is the station square of NS, the main sponsor of this unique walk. We end in style at a party location near the NS station. The start and finish are therefore easy to reach by public transport.

With this special walk we generate attention for inclusion. Unique Walking is an activity where people with and without disabilities share a positive experience. We walk together with, among others, students and work supervisors: this inclusive character makes the walk an encounter that you will never forget.

Participation is free. It is necessary to register in advance via the link below. We will start handing over the special Unique Walking t-shirts from 12.00 pm, and the walk will start from 13.00 pm.
