Sessa

The Brazilian Sessa (Sergio Sayeg) knows all too well the musical heritage his country has. He does something very beautiful and uncomplicated with it: minimalist bossa nova with his acoustic guitar as a basis. Second album Stela Acesa appeared in several end-of-year lists in 2022 and even received praise from The New Yorker. New single 'Vento a Favor' is perhaps a precursor to new material that could be performed live at Valkhof Festival.
