Pink outfits, rainbow flags, drag shows and lots of happy people… every year Nijmegen is turned upside down during Pink Wednesday. During this special day of the Four Days Marches (festivities), the entire city turns pink. Last year, the first edition of Pink Wednesday Young! was held in De Marienburg Library, LUX and on Mariënburgplein. During this glittering program, young people can celebrate, shop, meet writers, get inspired and much more. After last year's success, a new edition is inevitable! Will you also come to the Mariënburgplein to celebrate Pink Wednesday with other young people?

A special youth editorial team has put together a sparkling program. A program to put the LGBTIQ+ community in the spotlight and give queer young people the feeling that they can be themselves. Young people are welcome between 13:00 and 17:00 on and around Mariënburgplein. In LUX, writers, booksellers and inspiring guests are interviewed. In the House of Nijmegen History you can discuss what your ideal society would look like with Terra Nova. You can even shop: in the library there are stalls with homemade items from young entrepreneurs. Outside on the Mariënburgplein you will find information stalls from COC Nijmegen, among others.
