Kidsplein: Het Waterfeest AL

Today we celebrate. The Four Days Marches of course, but also the Water Festival! This afternoon you can listen to stories, craft rainsticks, chalk sidewalks, make music and play with water. You can go all afternoon from 13:00.

And, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm you can join a music making workshop. You can participate with homemade instruments (such as rainsticks) or bring your own instrument. Together we will then practice for a short performance on stage at LUX at 4 p.m.!

We organize the Water Festival in collaboration with Stichting Het Waterfeest. Stichting het waterfeest brings children into contact with important themes related to the future of the Netherlands in a cheerful and creative way.

Gelderland Zuid Library, LUX , Nijmegen Regional Archives and House of Nijmegen History give you a warm welcome during the Four Days Marches at Kidsplein (on Mariënburgplein). Here you can dream away with beautiful stories and get creative. Splashing with water, relaxing in the hustle and bustle, meeting cheerful children's book authors and enjoying a lot of fun. are you coming?
