Joost Wanders

Biography(long):

Joost Wander is an upcoming singer-songwriter from the Netherlands. ''Uptempo Nederpop combined with world music'', he describes himself. With his own work and his smashing covers, Joost plays solo and with a band throughout the Netherlands.

In 2016 he released his EP Loose Flodders . ''Losse Flodders is dreamy, varied, sunny and a cure for a bad mood '', says Jaap Koper (Alternative FM). He then wonthe public award of the Sena Grand Prix of Rotterdam on August 26, 2017, but since he signed with P&D art & artists, his career has really taken off.

In June 2018 he released his new EP Sharp Shooting in a festive way. This EP includes the single 'Geldmachine' that he released in collaboration with the Haarlem rap duo Dos Hermanos .

With this single he won the elevator pitch of 3FM DJ Kevin van Arnhem together with Dos Hermanos. In addition, the duet '2 steps back' with the Belgian singer Kirstie Dialegria is also on the record.

He has already opened for Xander de Buisonjé at Spijkenisse live , and has already shared the main stage at several major festivals with names such as Bløf, Danny Vera, The Kik, Handsome Poets and Heavn
