The American Emma Ruth Rundle writes beautiful poetic songs, packaged in lingering soundscapes that are somewhere between folk, post-rock and ambient. Minimalistic but at the same time steeped in emotions and heavy, dark sounds. She is currently famous as a solo artist, but she was also the creative brain behind the mesmerizing post-rock band Red Sparowes and Marriages.
