Cavolo Nero is a psychedelic groove band from Utrecht, founded out of a love for funk, disco and afrobeat. Expect exotic vibes with modern influences and psychedelics, falsetto hooks and tearing synth solos. This creates the fresh sound with which Cavolo Nero unleashes dance everywhere!
Their debut EP was released in 2022 and that same year the band toured the country with the Popronde. They then played at Noorderslag and had a busy summer with festivals such as Down The Rabbit Hole, Zwarte Cross, Into The Great Wide Open and took the first steps across the border.
At the beginning of this year the new EP 'Nightshade' was released with an accompanying club tour to venues such as Melkweg, Merleyn, Simplon and Hedon.
