Ember Eve

Ember Eve (aka Marit Trienekens) is a singer-songwriter from Nijmegen. Born in 1990 in Helder, Marit played and sang in her own bedroom from an early age, until Marit started studying and started performing live. Marit's music took off and not much later she opened for Kane, de Dijk and Ed Struijlaart, among others. In addition to her performance at 'the Grand Prix of the Netherlands' in 2012, Marit also appeared on various talent shows from VARA, BNN and 3FM.

Her debut EP 'My Dark Side' was released in 2017 and Eponymous was quickly picked up by national radio. Since 2017, Marit is also working on her other career, being a medical student. Not much later she graduated as a medical doctor with a specialization in family medicine. Making music has never stopped.

During her search for a new sound she came across Jeroen Kurpershoek (aka Jheronimus Duko), a producer, guitarist and bassist. A collaboration came during the peak of Corona and together they released a five track EP, mixing between acoustic and electronic.

The new work will be released in 2023 and will be one of the first to be heard on the Ramblas. Be there
