DEADLETTER

The Fall, but cheerful. It seems impossible, but DEADLETTER shows that it is indeed possible. And if you listen carefully, you can also hear a trace of Arctic Monkeys somewhere. Quite an achievement to integrate these influences (?) so seamlessly, and that while the debut full-length has yet to be released.

With crystal clear vocals, nice sing-along choruses and the occasional warm sax somewhere between all the post-punk violence, the Londoners are guaranteed to bring the first Valkhof Festival evening of 2023 up to temperature.
