House rules


The 7 best days a year, and we are in it together. That is why there will be some rules in the city, for everyone's safety. Happy partying!
1. It is not allowed to bring your own food and drinks. Your conÂsumpÂtions help keep the parÂties free.
2. Keep Nijmegen clean: bring your cups back to the bar, throw your trash in the bins and use the toiÂlet facilÂiÂties. (UriÂnatÂing in pubÂlic leads to a fine of €140).3. Next to cans and glass it is not allowed to bring fireÂworks, laughÂing gas, weapons or othÂer danÂgerÂous objects/​substances.
4. For safeÂty reaÂsons you might be checked or frisked. We might ask for a form of ID.
5. DurÂing the VierÂdaagseÂfeesten you might be feaÂtured in images/​audio fragÂments, takÂen both for safeÂty reaÂsons as well as proÂmoÂtion. As this is a pubÂlic event, your attenÂdance gives autoÂmatÂic perÂmisÂsion to use these fragÂments.
6. It is not allowed to proÂmote events, charÂiÂties, organÂiÂsaÂtions or brands around the fesÂtiÂval ground, in whatÂevÂer way, unless there is writÂten perÂmisÂsion by StichtÂing VierÂdaagseÂfeesten.
7. No alcoÂhol perÂmitÂted under 18, there is a zero-tolÂerÂance-polÂiÂcy when it comes to drugs, agresÂsion, threats and pubÂlic intoxÂiÂcaÂtion. Racist signs or remarks, threatÂenÂing to use/​using vioÂlence, (sexÂuÂal) intimÂiÂdaÂtion and offenÂsive clothÂing will not be tolÂerÂatÂed.
8. It is not perÂmitÂted to climb on stages, in tents and scafÂfoldÂing of the fesÂtiÂval, or destroy propÂerÂty.
9. Park your bikes and othÂer means of transÂport in the desÂigÂnatÂed areas.
10. AttendÂing this evenÂt is at your own risk.
