What does Become a Friend mean?

For only 36 euros you can buy a friends wrist­band and you will be our Friend for a long year, which is con­vert­ed into 3 euros per month! We use the pro­ceeds from the friends pro­gram to work towards our goal of becom­ing cli­mate neu­tral. We also ensure that the Vier­daagse­feesten are acces­si­ble to every­one, includ­ing, for exam­ple, peo­ple with a small­er wal­let or a dis­abil­i­ty in any sense.

This year, 5% of the pro­ceeds from the friends pro­gram will go to Maat­jes Nijmegen.

We pre­fer to become Friends for life. That’s why, after you become a Friend this year, we will ask you once if you want to be our Friend next year as well.

What can I do with my Friends wristband?

With your gold­en wrist­band you have the same ben­e­fits as a ​‘reg­u­lar’ fes­ti­val wrist­band, name­ly exclu­sive access to a nice extra every day and free access to all out­door toi­lets and some rec­og­niz­able indoor toi­lets. In addi­tion, you will receive a 10% dis­count on pre­sen­ta­tion of your wrist­band at our mer­chan­dise stand at the Vier­daagse­feesten. 

Every day of the Vier­daagse­feesten (13 /19 July) we have a dif­fer­ent sur­prise in store for you, from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m., always at a dif­fer­ent loca­tion in the city.

Sat­ur­day 13 – 07: Chat GPTyp­ing with Naaistreek at the Ramblas

• Chat GPT knows every­thing… or does it? The­ater duo Naaistreek has trans­formed this dig­i­tal ora­cle into a the­atri­cal and ana­log for­mat, result­ing in Chat GPTyp­ing. With an old-fash­ioned type­writer and an empa­thet­ic pair of minds, they will answer your big life ques­tions or oth­er press­ing issues. Receive your answer with lots of fan­fare, whis­tles, and bells.

Sun­day 14 – 07: Pricilla’s Prize Palace in the Burchtstraat

• Come and try your luck at Pricilla’s Prize Palace! This unique game attrac­tion has graced many col­or­ful fairs in the Nether­lands. This line-pulling spec­ta­cle is not just for kids but espe­cial­ly for adults. But beware: you get what you give. The extrav­a­gant and col­or­ful inte­ri­or of the fair booth makes rope pulling a com­plete the­atri­cal and rec­og­niz­able spectacle.

Mon­day 15 – 07: Quick Sketch Artists Case and Wil at Plein 44

• Get immor­tal­ized by the wan­der­ing quick sketch artists Case and Wil, who can cap­ture and eter­nal­ize your car­i­ca­ture on a beer mat in just a few min­utes. A per­fect sou­venir of the Vierdaagsefeesten!

Tues­day 16 – 07: Free Fer­ry Ride at Stad­sei­land Stek

• Show your wrist­band at the fer­ry from the Kaaij to Stad­sei­land Stek and enjoy a free one-way trip!

Wednes­day 17 – 07: Kin­ki Cut Car­a­van at Kelfkens­bos Festival

• Nijmegen turns pink on Pink Wednes­day! Show your sup­port for the LGBTQIA+ com­mu­ni­ty by tem­porar­i­ly trans­form­ing your look to pink at the Cut Car­a­van! A unique and fes­tive expe­ri­ence, just as you would expect from a vis­it to Kin­ki kappers.

Thurs­day 18 – 07: Insect Snack at Smaakmarkt

• Vis­it the food truck of De Insecten­man and taste your spe­cial insect snack. This hero from Beunin­gen process­es insects, spe­cial­ly bred for con­sump­tion, into deli­cious bites. You won’t rec­og­nize them as insects, so you can bet­ter focus on the taste. Get acquaint­ed with the food of the future and be inspired!

Fri­day 19 – 07: Find Your Zen Moment in the Mariken­straat (upstairs)

• Take your Zen moment and expe­ri­ence a lit­tle won­der amidst all the fes­tiv­i­ties. Kick off your shoes, take a deep breath, and start a jour­ney through your sens­es via a head­phone filled with nature sounds. Play­ful Zen influ­encers invite you for your ulti­mate Zen moment. How do I become a Friend?

You can now pur­chase your friends bracelet for 36 euros in our web­shop. For 3.95 we will send it at home, or you can pick it up for free before or dur­ing the par­ties.
 

Wrist­band Pick­up Loca­tions
In the run-up to the Vier­daagse­feesten, you can col­lect your wrist­band at var­i­ous loca­tions in the city. Below is an overview of all pick­up locations:

Pick­up Loca­tions from Tues­day, July 9 to Fri­day, July 12:
- LUX.
- City Store
- Sam­son
- Tem­pe­lier
- Bies­sels
- De Deut
- Sel­bachs
- De Lindenberg

Note: On Fri­day, July 12, you have until 20:00 to col­lect your wrist­band. After that, it will no longer be pos­si­ble to pick up your wrist­band at the above loca­tions. Pick­up times are the same as the reg­u­lar open­ing hours of these locations.

From Sat­ur­day, July 13:
Start­ing Sat­ur­day, July 13, wrist­bands can be picked up at all out­door toi­lets of the Vier­daagse­feesten and at the mer­chan­dise stands on the Ram­blas and Burchtstraat.
