De Perifeer x Valkhof Festival

This is the ninth consecutive year that De Perifeer has been invited by Valkhof Festival to provide the program for two evenings in the Valkhof Chapel on the festival site; Tuesday evening, July 16 and Wednesday evening, July 17. Just grab them both, because De Perifeer's line-ups are once again particularly beautiful and stimulating this year. Plus, that location is gold and admission is free! With his accordion and a mountain of live electronics, Zbigniew from Poland is looking for musical risks without a safety net. His avant-garde improvisations pulsate back and forth between ambient, noise and drone. Each encounter between artist, audience, space and instrument is completely different from all previous and subsequent ones. Sometimes relaxed, sometimes a whirlwind, but always on the way to new melodic connections and a completely renewed acquaintance with the versatility of the accordion. De Perifeer has already booked Zbigniew in a large church, but this will also be an overwhelming sensation in the Valkhof Chapel.
