were extremely popular at the time. The up-tempo songs are a mix of swing, jazz and traditional country music. The Mule Stompers are an energetic formation from Nijmegen that consists of Koen Jacobs (guitar, banjo, harmonica, vocals) Roderik Rodermans (guitar, vocals). Fedde Sappelli (double bass, vocals) Maaike Tromp (clarinet) and Martijn Marges (washboard, vocals).
