Skatepark

No Havana but Waalhalla on the Waal this year. The 4-day parties are making way for urban sports on 't Eiland! During the day it will be bustling with families where young people can show off their skills in sporting and creative workshops. In addition, 't Eiland is transformed in the evening into a Waalhalla of local DJs and concepts.

Waalhalla wouldn't be Waalhalla without a skate park! With a mini ramp and a pump track, crazy stunts are performed by professional athletes all afternoon. The rest of the day there are free skateboard and BMX workshops for young and old. During these workshops you will learn the basic techniques and some tricks will be taught. After the workshop it is possible to practice freely. Of course the weather is super nice so we have a 27 meter long skimboard track, don't forget your swimsuit!

Throughout the week, visitors can participate in various workshops such as spraying graffiti with professional artists, making kites and building sandcastles. Local and international graffiti artists will also create live art on 't Eiland.
