Roze Woensdag Pride Walk

Join us for the Pride Walk on Pink Wednesday!
Stichting Roze Woensdag is organizing the Roze Woensdag Pride Walk for the sixth time this year in the center of Nijmegen on Roze Woensdag, July 16. The Pride Walk aims to visibly draw attention to more acceptance for the LHBTIQ+ community in the form of a Pride Walk. We invite everyone to join this pink rainbow parade.

The Pride Walk starts at the Lage Markt in the lower city and follows the route of the Four Days Marches. We join after the last walker – around 16:40 – and walk past a number of stages that celebrate Pink Wednesday. The walk starts after a signal from the organization.

The procession walks, armed with rainbow flags, love signs, signs of your organization and pink streamers, a short route of approximately 30 minutes. The walk will end at the end of the Van Broeckhuysenstraat at the Albert Heijn. From there, there is the possibility to walk independently to Kelfkensbos, where we are invited to come and dance at the stage of KissKiss and look around at the various market stalls.

Put on your walking shoes and your best pink rainbow outfit and applaud and cheer as loud as you can!

Practical:
- Gather between 4:00 and 4:30 PM.
- Departure approximately 4.40/4.45 pm from Lage Mark in the lower town.
- After the last Four Days Marches walker we leave.
- The signal to start is given by a volunteer with a megaphone. Keep an eye on this signal!
- Join in and don't leave any gaps in the procession.
- It is not possible to join or leave the Pride Walk in between.
- Follow all instructions from the volunteers in safety vests carefully.
