Nielson

Nielson, born as Niels Littooij on 28 December 1989 in Dordrecht, started his musical journey at a young age with a drum kit and developed into a versatile artist. Initially he focused on rap and studied at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht. His participation in the talent showDe Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederlandin 2012 meant his breakthrough with the general public, partly thanks to the hit 'Beauty & de Brains'.

In the following years, Nielson released successful albums, including 'Zo Van Ah Yeah' (2014) and 'Weet Je Wat Het Is' (2016). His music evolved from cheerful guitar pop to a more electronic sound, which is clearly audible on the album 'Diamant' (2018), which was awarded two Edisons. In 2023, his album Niels was released, followed by a club tour.

With his signature style and personal lyrics, Nielson remains a prominent figure in the Dutch music scene. Tonight he will perform in the special setting of the Stevenskerk with an intimate up close & personal acoustic set. Not to be missed.
