Myra Pilar (presented by HKconcerten)

Myra Pilar is a singer and songwriter from Nijmegen. Her music can be broadly described as Acoustic Pop, with influences from Soul, R&B and Sing and Songwriting. The diversity of her repertoire makes her unique: from compelling and honest to danceable and groovy. Her deep, sincere voice and her lived lyrics surprise you in every song.

In 2019 on October 4, Myra Pilar released her debut album “MYRA PILAR” and presented it in “Merleyn” in Nijmegen. The evening was an extreme success. Her first performance was sold out and the number of visitors was even exceeded. The covid outbreak came almost immediately after this and all subsequent concerts were cancelled. It felt like a false start, but she didn't sit still. Her 2nd album “Finally” with again 10 songs has been released on vinyl and will be sold in stores. In addition to the popular singles “Everything is good again”, “Sunray” and “Orange Beauty”, many surprises await. And as you can see, we can also expect something Dutch in this album in addition to her English-language songs.
