Lord Apex

MF DOOM was originally British, so it's no surprise that you don't have to look further than the Channel to find a potential next hip-hop great. Lord Apex has yet to turn thirty, but has already released twelve (12!) albums. His productivity is reminiscent of that of American greats such as Billy Woods, and Lord Apex's sound is not that far off. Yet he clearly conveys a British sauce about his music. There is one common thread throughout his already enormous repertoire: that of quality. Lord Apex is not interested in commercial success, but in delivering unprecedented craftsmanship.
