Theater maker and poet Kasper Peters plays the role of the nineteenth century poet Eminescu in Eminescu . With his lyrics he fought against 'progressive thinking': the persistent idea that technology and industrialization make the world a more beautiful and better world. In addition to his struggle, the performance is also about the romantic poet's strange life. The decor is a planetarium of objects that he cannot get a hold of. Eminescu is regarded in Romania and Moldova as the greatest poet ever. His work, inspired by Schopenhauer, his language, his philosophical depth and his life had a strong influence on the Romanian language and culture. Kasper Peters wrote the lyrics together with Jean Pierre Rawie and Kasper Peters plays Eminescu. This show is suitable for adults.
