THE HOME BAND – THE RED-WHITE-BLUE PARADE IS BACK!

De Thuisband has been around for over 25 years and is not called “The most intense Dutch pop band in the world” for nothing.
Dutch pop heroes such as Henk Westbroek (Het Goede Doel), Marcel de Groot, Peter Koelewijn, Erik Mesie (Toontje Lager), Peter Groot Kormelink (Jazzpolitie) Bert Heerink, Harry Slinger, Ronnie Tober but also Gordon, Armand and Manuele Kemp have regularly been guests at De Thuisband.

After their cult hit "Het leven is kut!" the band has visited almost all venues and festivals in the Netherlands since the nineties. After a 6-year absence the band finally returns to the Hertogplein and they play the biggest Dutch pop hits as other cover bands would like to be able to do. With musical craftsmanship and above all infectious enthusiasm. Often with a solid sound of their own but always recognizable. The biggest hits of De Dijk, Het Goede Doel, Blof, De Scene etc. are not rushed off as mash ups but played "old-fashioned" with great solos, intros and outros and the whole shebang. Just... because they are such good songs and because the band can do it!
