Daya

As a 10-year-old, Daya participated in The Voice Kids, the first season and worked with Nick and Simon. She reached into the battles. Daya: “It was so cool to participate in this, I learned a lot from it. Including the fact that I love being on stage in front of an audience.”
Since then she has built up an extensive track record, both in a band and solo, and with both covers and her own work.

“Live performance is of course the best!”, says Daya. “If people come to see you because you touch them; that your voice evokes emotions is my main motivation and therefore to fire on stage and give you 100% all the way. And that's why I sing almost everything, from soul to jazz, top-40, easy listening and even a little Dutch!
