Daya

As a 10-year-old, Daya participated in the first season of The Voice Kids and worked with Nick and Simon. She reached the battles. Daya: “It was so cool to participate in this, I learned a lot from it. Including the fact that I love being on stage in front of an audience.” Since then, she has built up an extensive track record, both as a band and solo, and with both covers and her own work.

“Live performance is of course the best thing!” says Daya. “When people come to see you because you touch them; The fact that your voice triggers emotions is my main motivation and that is why I want to shine on stage and give 100%. And that's why I sing almost everything, from soul to jazz, top 40, easy listening and even a little bit of Dutch!”
