Bring a Soulmate

On Wednesday, July 17, Plein44 will transform its party grounds into a swinging, vibrant location where Funk & Soul take center stage. In the afternoon the Nijmegen band the Dancefloor Dandies kicks off and in the evening the party continues with Soulful Sessions. During this theme day 'Bring a Soulmate' we invite all Nijmegen Soulmates to come to our square to dance, sing and jump together. Or to just come and enjoy the music, atmosphere and conviviality. Plein44 is for everyone and solidarity and enjoying together are central to us

On the 17th, the Dancefloor Dandies will play a mix of contemporary covers by Bruno Mars, Jason Mraz, De Jeugd van Nooit, Dua Lipa, Justin Timberlake and Harry Styles, among others. The Dandies won't leave their couch for anything less than a good party and the men are very much looking forward to getting everyone dancing.

In the evening it is the stage for The Soulful Sessions. They provide a super energetic dance evening with DJs and live performances. With the music of legends such as James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Kool & The Gang and Marvin Gaye, but also the new generation soul artists such as Anderson Paak, Jill Scott, Tom Misch, Allen Stone and Bruno Mars are reviewed! They are selling out the halls everywhere in the Netherlands, so we are counting on a packed Plein44

On this theme day 'Bring a Soulmate' you make it visible that you are friends - through clothes, a hat, crazy sunglasses or otherwise. If you are 'caught' by our cameraman, a nice surprise awaits you. Naturally, our live bands will pay a musical tribute to all Soulmates who will dance together en masse in the special place right in front of our main stage. So do you have a neighbor, niece or colleague who has never been to the Four Days Marches? Someone with a smaller social network or a different threshold? Invite him/them/her for this special soulful day!

PS: The first 50 soulmates who report to our presenter Happy Miel will receive a nice surprise. In addition, soulmates can have their picture taken together.
