Even those who have been faithfully going on a musical discovery tour in the Valkhof Park for a week since De Affaire, will never have come across an act like Voice or Baceprot. Their videos have millions of views and they are famous in their own country. The rock trio hails from Garut, Indonesia.

A country of almost a quarter of a billion inhabitants, many of whom are Muslim. So are the three female members of Voice of Bacprot. The band proves that socially critical lyrics, loud music and faith are compatible. There is no act that better gets rid of clichés!
