Salsa Tipica

Four nights during the Four Days Marches week you will find Salsa Tipica at the Kop van Kelfkensbos. Loosen your hips, arms, ankles, everything, because once you are on the dance floor, you will not be able to leave it easily. Salsa Tipica's goal: everyone should feel welcome.

Saturday & Thursday - Latin

At 19:00 the evening will be kicked off with a Latin workshop at entry level, so you don't have to feel embarrassed to join in. After that it's free dancing from 20:00, with salsa, merengue, bachata and kizomba being just a few of the styles that will be featured. None other than DJ Joost and DJ André will be spinning all the Latin music together for you.

DJ Joost you may know from Salsa Tipica and Hennis Latin Stage where he was a regular DJ at the Vierdaagsefeesten for over 12 years. You have probably also encountered him behind the DJ table in Nijmegen, Apeldoorn and Bilthoven. In short, get your feet off the floor and enjoy all the Latin sounds during these summer parties.

DJ Andre, is an experienced DJ with a passion for Latin music and dance. He has been in the DJ booth at many events in the Netherlands and abroad. Whether it is at a festival, a social or at a dance school, his goal is always to give everyone a great evening. Besides being a passionate DJ, he is also a fanatic dancer and that combination makes him feel the dance floor well and provides the right vibe.

Monday & Friday - West Coast Swing

The dance style that is gaining popularity online by the day, but at Salsa Tipica West Coast Swing has been danced for about 10 years. They show this knowledge and skill on Monday and Friday, where a workshop is planned at 19:00 and you will learn the tricks of the dance. At 20:00 DJ Marty and DJ Lil John are ready to show you all corners of the dance floor with their hot hits. Because if you don't ask anyone to dance, a 'westie' will. What kind of music can you expect? Everything!

DJ Marty is the permanent WCS DJ at Salsa Tipica and has also performed at international events such as the Dutch Open and Nordic WCS Championships.

DJ Lil John has been a fixture in the West Coast Swing scene in the Netherlands for years, is known for his guilty pleasures and has also played many WCS events on his resume. Come and be surprised.
