Lenny Monsou

Lenny Monsou is a versatile artist through and through. With his powerful vocals and special talent for songwriting, he combines elements of rock, pop and electronic music into something new and exciting. His tracks strive for a feeling that is timeless and melancholic, while at the same time showing youthful energy and an intense world of experience. The inner need to make music speaks from everything Lenny writes, sings, plays and produces.

With his unique style, a combination of glam rock and new romantic with a hit-sensitive undertone, Lenny Monsou has quickly earned a place in the Dutch music circuit. His music is compared to influences such as T-Rex, David Bowie and Duran Duran, but also to contemporary artists such as Harry Styles and The 1975.

Monsou grew up in a musical family and went to the Herman Brood Academy at the age of fifteen, where he graduated with a 10 for artistic skills. Last summer, Lenny provided the opening act for S10 and was named 3FM Talent. Lenny played “Idolizer” in an acoustic version during 3FM Serious Request in the Glass House and performed with the full band on the 3FM stage at Noorderslag 2025.

In late October 2024, his debut EP 'Idolizer' was released. Almost all the songs on this EP are about admiring something or someone. The title track 'Idolizer' shows how idols can motivate us to be creative and find our own way, through their music, words and lifestyle. Idolizer celebrates the power of admiration and how it can inspire you to create something beautiful.

In March 2025, Lenny will tour for the first time as a headliner along a number of beautiful venues in the Netherlands, where he will also perform his latest single 'Sinatra'.
