Jannes

Jannes was born on June 26, 1973 in beautiful Emmen. During his carefree and loving youth, his appreciation for the Dutch song, or the levenslied, grew quickly. This seed planted at a young age grew and grew, resulting in a brilliant singing career .

His nickname, “ King of the Pirates ”, is not just a badge of honor, but a true tribute to his rise in the music scene. This is largely due to all the airwave pirates, who not only played a crucial role at the beginning of his career, but still have a large share in his continued success to this day.

Through hard work, Jannes has built up an impressive track record , with some sixteen gold and platinum records, his own concerts in Ahoy and the Gelredome. With that, he has shown his large group of fans that they really appreciate him, his dedication and his music.
