Proper was created from a collaboration between frontman of the punk band Orde Primates and hip hop producer Ben Jur. As a duo they made the first EP 'fake leather' which was released in early 2023. A few months later the live act was gathered and the band was formed.

DJ: Jeremy Molenaar
In a short time this four-piece group worked on new music and started a collaboration with Dino Cazares of Fear Factory. Performances of that first year reached a peak by playing as headliner in Paradiso. The following year Proper played almost 40 shows and a tour in South Africa, Swaziland and Kenya was realized.
