Fabiana Dammers (Presented by HKconcerten)

Since her double victory at the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in 2008, no one can ignore the Dutch-Italian singer-songwriter Fabiana Dammers. The singer then completed the Pop education at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where she was taught by Anouk and Mathilde Santing, among others. Following two EPs, Dammers' debut album, entitled The Girl You Love , was released in September 2012. In addition to many rave reviews, the album was picked up in the US by singer-songwriter Lori Lieberman (known for the world hit "Killing Me Softly"), who invited Fabiana as the opening act for her tour.

Fabiana, who was crowned by the media as 'the female equivalent of Damien Rice', draws her inspiration from life itself. Folky pop songs with substance and a great voice characterize the singer. The singer-songwriter has already performed in support programs for Beth Hart, Sabrina Starke and Van Dik Hout and has performed herself in Paradiso, the Melkweg, the Oosterpoort and at the Folkwoods Festival. Fabiana is currently focusing on writing the promising successor to The Girl You Love and in the meantime performs a lot throughout the country via HKconcerten to perform her songs.
