Cocktail refugee meeting

Everyone should feel safe and welcome in Nijmegen.
The goal of Cocktail (COC Regio Nijmegen) is to make LHBTIQ+ refugees feel at home. That is why we organize meetings for LHBTIQ+ refugees and asylum seekers. On Pink Wednesday, Cocktail COC Nijmegen organizes a special meeting for refugees and asylum seekers! Please note: this meeting is only for people who register via [email protected].

Program
Our program starts at 12:00 in the Stevenskerk, where we will be present at the official opening of Roze Woensdag at 12:30. After that, we will start the party and take you through the beautiful Nijmegen. We will attend queer parties and the pride walk, among other things. Cocktail Nijmegen wants to help break the isolation that LGBTIQ+ refugees and asylum seekers face. Fleeing a country where you are not safe as an LGBTIQ+ and ending up in an asylum seekers' center makes life difficult. We want to introduce LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers to each other, to Dutch society and to the LGBTIQ+ community.
