Black Hat White Hat (BHWH) is a spinoff of DIX/Steve Duke & The Earles.
Guitarist Ray Van Haalen and singer songwriter Erik van Oijen (Steve Duke) create songs together with Ray's daughter Lucy Van Haalen that are reminiscent of the work of Mandolin Orange (Watchhouse), Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings and Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris.
