Ammar Bozoglu is not your average folk singer. Born in Deventer and raised in the lively 'Red Village', he breathes music with the heart of Hazes and the soul of the street. Inspired by heroes like Django Wagner and Jannes, Ammar started telling his own story — full of emotion, passion and recognizability.

His breakthrough came with a viral Dumpert video in which he performed a song by Hazes. Since then, things went fast: from TV appearances to millions of streams. Under the wings of Snelle's label Lieve Jongens, Ammar developed his own sound, with hits such as Terug Naar Vroeger , De Laatste (with Snelle), and Turk Uit De Kroeg .
