Sint Jacobskapel

In the Old Lower Town of Nijmegen, a small chapel from the 15th century has been preserved as a historical monument. The chapel, just as in the past, plays a role as a meeting place for pilgrims (particularly the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella).

The organization of the concerts is in the hands of the GetU Foundation, pronounced “Get You”. The foundation aims to organize 10 singer-songwriter concerts per year in a small setting. The concerts are (semi-)acoustic as much as possible. Due to the limited size of the location, the audience is, as it were, “on top” of the musicians. This creates an intimate atmosphere and every performance has something special.

The 15th century chapel is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly.
