Names

When referring to the event, one will refer to the Vierdaagsefeesten.
When we talk about ‘the organisation’, we mean Stichting Vierdaagsefeesten or the Vierdaagsefeesten.
We’d like to ask you not to use the former name ‘Summer Festival’; our event has been called the Vierdaagsefeesten since 1998.
‘Vierdaagsefeesten’ should be written in full: ‘Vierdaagse’ refers to the International Four Day Marches, and not to the festival.
On social media we use the hashtag #vierdaagsefeesten

On our YouTube channel we post videos, including after movies and other impressions of the Vierdaagsefeesten. You can embed these videos or share them using a link. Please always acknowledge the source as the Vierdaagsefeesten.
