It's back: the Vierdaagsefeesten wristband

Seven days of unlimited access to the toilets in the city center, the opportunity to meet new fellow festival-goers, and an exclusive wristband program every day. Those are the benefits of the beloved Vierdaagsefeesten wristband. After four successful editions, it is now available again!

Since its introduction in 2022, the wristband has grown into an indispensable accessory for a carefree festival week. The organization continues to increase its value every year. Following the substantial expansion of the number of toilets last year, the organization is going all out this year with unique sanitary premieres, an exclusive anniversary program, and a heartwarming matchmaking campaign.

During the Vierdaagsefeesten, no fewer than 1,050 urinals and 700 flush toilets will be distributed throughout the Nijmegen city center. Thanks to the wristband system, visitors won't have to pay per use, ensuring a smoother flow. This year, the organization is also introducing a sanitary pilot project: women's urinals will be installed at several strategic locations for the first time. This is a fantastic addition to our amenities, as the organization strives to ensure there is a suitable toilet nearby for everyone.
Talk to me
The wristband can be worn in two ways, each with its own recognizable look. This year, the text 'Talk to me' once again adorns the inside. Wearers can use this to subtly show that they are open to a good conversation or a new flame.
The organization is reinforcing this initiative on its social media channels with a special matchmaking campaign. This is not only for those looking for 'that one nice guy at the front of the park', but also offers a platform to personally thank a helpful stranger afterwards. exclusive wristband program
This year, the Vierdaagsefeesten are celebrating their 55th edition in grand style with an exclusive and varied program, especially for visitors with a wristband. With the wristband, there is something unique to experience every day of the festival week.
The program takes place daily at varying locations in the city center, from 14:00 to 21:00. This year's offerings consist of:
- Saturday, July 18 - Stop by Foxy Coffee & Conceptstore and grab a free (vegan) Vierdaagsefeesten cake, sustainably baked by Trashure Taarten. While supplies last!
- Sunday, July 19 - During the Sunday of the Vierdaagsefeesten, upon presentation of your wristband, you will receive a tasting glass of craft beer with a real Nijmegen story (0.0% beer also available). Additionally, you will receive exclusive access to a special route through the Nijmegen city center.
- Monday, July 20 - Step into the Theater of Truth and let yourself be told the unvarnished truth. In this rolling retro fortune-telling paradise, the TAROTainer will lay out the tarot cards for you.
- Tuesday, July 21 - Cross the Waal and discover Stadseiland Stek! Show your wristband at the ferry from the Kaaij and enjoy a free outward trip to Stadseiland Stek.
- Wednesday, July 22 - To whom or what will you declare your love, and what will you wear? NAAISTREEK is your wedding planner on Pink Wednesday and provides you with a special moment you will never forget.
- Thursday, July 23 – On Disco Thursday, upon presentation of your wristband, you will receive a 10-minute VIP party at the kiosk on Molenstraat.
- Friday, July 24 – With your wristband, you get a free, unique photo with a Vierdaagsefeesten touch. No filters or post-processing, just a real Polaroid capturing the moment as it was!

Home delivery
you having your wristband delivered to your home? Then Velocity will ensure it arrives within approximately a week. Home delivery is possible till Monday, July 13.
Pick up at a location prior to the festivities
From Tuesday, July 14 to Friday, July 17, you can pick up your wristband (using the QR code you receive in the Vierdaagsefeesten app after your order) at one of the following locations:
- Tempelier
- Biessels
- Café De Stoof
- Hotel Credible
- De Lindenberg
- Café Faber
- Café Van Ouds
- Muzieum
- Café De Deut
- City Store(to be picked up until Tuesday, July 21)
Please note: on Friday, July 17, pick-up is possible until 18:00. After that, you can no longer pick up your wristband at these locations (except for City Store). The pick-up times are the same as the regular opening hours of the locations.
Collection during the Vierdaagsefeesten
From Saturday, July 18, wristbands are available at all outdoor toilets at the Vierdaagsefeesten and at the merchandise stands on Molenstraat and Burchtstraat.
Done with partying? Then hand in your wristband at the merchandise stand on Burchtstraat so it can be recycled.
